Brigham Young University
Though a private university, the cost of study at this university is very less. Located in the third largest city of Utah State, it is the third largest university among other private universities. For undergraduate programs, it charges, $4,710 for LDS (Latter-day Saints) students ($9,420 for non-LDS students). It costs $23000 less than the other private universities. It accepts ACT/SAT as competitive scores and IELTS/TOEFL as a proof of English competency.
The total cost including boarding, lodging etc is $17,530 for LDS and $22,240 for Non-LDS student. Moreover, it provides scholarships and part time work opportunities are also available. The university was established in 1875 and is fully accredited by the Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities. It offers courses in various fields viz. management, engineering, arts, humanities and nursing etc.
Southern Arkansas University
Founded in 1909, this university is situated in Mangolia, a city which is home to world’s largest charcoal grill. It offers various programs in business, chemistry, biology, agricultural studies etc. The total fee for undergraduate is $17,000 and $13500 for graduate programs. The university is fully accredited by The Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association and other organizations.
California State University
Established in 1857, it is one of the three public higher education systems. The California State University (CSU) is the member of APLU and the American Association of State Colleges and Universities (AASCU). The cost of study in this university ranges from $3000-$7000 per year.
